Ingrid (Bliss), Indy and Spirit ( Micro)

Indy is Ingrid's (Bliss's)



half sister, and is almost



two years old. She has been



the most patient teacher with



Ingrid. Although, I can't say




the same for Ingrid and her




sharks teeth. They have so



much fun playing together.

Here is Ingrid checking

Indy's teeth to make

sure that she flossed

today.

She loves her toys..!

Two days ago she started

wagging her tail when

she hears our voices.

All these wonderful

stages that they go

through. What a gift to

watch it all..

Although Ingrid has

pretty much decided

that the whelphing

box is just for

babies...She does

occasionally sleep

in it with

Spirit (Micro).

He is walking

now and such

a sweetie....

Bliss's outside adventure

Today was Bliss's first






adventure outside. She







is one very confident little






girl. She sniffed and sniffed.






All those new wonderful smells






to discover.

Bliss is interacting

with her toys more

every day. She is

full of energy and loves

to play. To Leeya's

dismay, her dangling

ears seem to be

a focus for Bliss's

sharp teeth.

Leeya is such a

very patient Mom.

Time for Leeya to

clean her baby up..!

..then time for a nap..

at 7 lbs4 oz

Micro...15.7 oz...we have

we have almost getten

to a whole pound !!!

The gal that does


my conformation


class raises Rhodesian


Ridgebacks. She recently, Ap 3rd


had a litter of 9. One little guy..Micro..


weighed in at 5 oz. With her work


schedule, she knew that she could


not feed him every two hours, so


she looked for a foster Mom.


How could we not take this


little miracle of life in?


When we brought him home


he weighed in at 5.7 ounces...


Bliss at that time weighed ..5.7


pounds. But even with this


difference, it has been a joy filled


experience for all of us. Leeya, being


the great mother that she is, look


Micro in as her own within the


first hour introduction. Bliss


thinks he is kind of 'cool' I think.

Two to three weeks old

Bliss's favorite thing


to do, before she got


to big, was to do laps


under the pig rail


in the whelping box...



Her life....sleep, nurse



and get cleaned up




by Mom.

Three to Almost four weeks old

Bliss..18 days old

Miss Bliss weighed in



at 5 lbs.2.5 oz this



morning.



She did her first little



bark yesterday. I said her



name a little louder



than nornal, and she



barked back in return..telling



me..'that's right, that's my



name ".



What a little cutie. She is



still trying to get her hind



legs under her, so she can



walk...She pulls it off some



times and not others.



We bring differenct things



in ...food stuff, leaves, grass



blades and pigeon feathers



to test her nose. And she is



all nose....How she loves



smelling things and discover-



ing her world thru this sense.
